Healthcheck

A service inspection of your IAM solution

IAM solutions decay quietly: integrations that fail unnoticed, roles that have grown crooked, and processes that get bypassed in everyday work. A healthcheck gives you a documented picture of the solution's condition – and a prioritized list of what to fix first.

When does it make sense?

Signs that a healthcheck is overdue

  • The solution was implemented years ago – and hasn't had an inspection since.
  • Key people have left, and no one has the full picture anymore.
  • The auditors have asked questions you couldn't answer with documentation.
  • Manual workarounds and exceptions have become the norm.
  • You're considering an upgrade or extension and want to know the foundation first.

The engagement

How it works

  1. Scoping

A short clarification of the solution, the integrations, and the areas that worry you most.

  2. Review

A technical review of platform, configuration, and integrations, combined with interviews about the processes around the solution.

  3. Report

Findings with a risk assessment and a prioritized improvement list: what's urgent, what can wait, and what it takes.

  4. Review meeting

We present the results and recommend next steps, which you're free to carry out yourselves or with us.

What we review

Technology, processes, and governance

  • Platform and configuration: versions, setup, and deviations from best practice.
  • Integrations: HR source, AD/Entra ID, and target systems – is synchronization running cleanly?
  • JML processes: do on-, re-, and offboarding work in practice, or are they bypassed?
  • Role model and entitlements: accumulation, outdated roles, and direct assignments outside the model.
  • Governance: recertification, segregation of duties, and audit trail.
  • Operations: monitoring, error handling, and documentation.

Our view

A healthcheck is not an audit. It is the list of what you can close yourselves before the next quarter.

We give the recommendations in the order they can be carried out, not in the order we found them.

When did your solution last get an inspection?

A healthcheck is a well-defined engagement with a concrete estimate up front, and the report is yours, whatever you choose to do afterwards.
